Oven Baked Apple Chips Recipe

I love snacks that are sweet and crunchy. I won’t say no to a salty snack either, but if I were offered these Oven Baked Apple Chips vs. Potato Chips, I’d pick the Oven Baked Apple Chips every single time. They have a nice crunch to them and slightly sweet presence. I love them They’re not difficult to make either. They take a bit of time in the oven to dry out, but it’s well worth the time. All you need to do is set a timer and go on with your day. There’s not a lot of babysitting going on with these.

Ingredients
- 2 Medium Apples (Any firm apple will do (I used Pink Lady))
- 1 tablespoon oil (Any flavorless oil (I used Grapeseed Oil))
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Directions
Step 1 | Slice apples thinly. I used a mandolin (be careful!) I did one apple at a time due to oven space issues. | |
Step 2 | Add apples to a large bowl and drizzle with oil. Mix to combine. | |
Step 3 | Lay on a parchment (or silpat) lined single layer on sheet pan. | |
Step 4 | In a small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and sugar. | |
Step 5 | Sprinkle each apple slice with a small amount of Cinnamon Sugar mixture. |
