Holy Cannoli Dip

This recipe for Holy Cannoli Dip is a new recipe I recently tried for a couple holiday parties I attended. Let me tell you it was a huge hit! I adapted it from One Lovely Life. You have to give this one a try.  Even if you’ve never had the pleasure of eating a cannoli before, you will love this. Even my husband, who doesn’t like sweets too much, loved it. It’s fast to whip up too with a food processor or blender. Let me show you how I made it.

I made this dip recently for a couple holiday parties and it was a huge hit! It's easy to make and great to dip strawberries, cinnamon sugar pita chips, or shards of waffle cone. It’s a very easy and very delicious treat.

Ingredients

  • 7 1/2oz part skim milk ricotta (1/2 of a 15 ounce container)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (I used fat free)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (1 brick, I used reduced fat)
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping (I used light)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1 In the bowl of a food processor, combine ricotta, yogurt, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Step 2 Then fold in the whipped topping and then mini chocolate chips (reserving a few to sprinkle on top).
Step 3 Serve completely chilled.
