Recipe: Cheddar Cheese Ball
I made this Cheddar Cheese Ball recently for a Super Bowl party and was it a hit. My husband literally could not stop eating it. In fact there was about half leftover and he ate it all in one sitting the next night. And then he of course complained of a stomach ache. Hah! This is morphed from a recipe I found on Yahoo! Voices.
It really is super simple to make. Let me show you how.

Here are the ingredients: cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, worcestershire sauce, dried parsley and pecans.
Combine the cream cheese & shredded cheddar in a large bowl.
Mix with a fork until thoroughly combined.
Add in the dried onion, dried garlic, dried parsley…
…and worcestershire sauce and mix with a fork until thoroughly combined.
Chop your pecans so they are small enough to adhere to the outside of the cheese ball.
Form the mixture into a ball and then roll it into the chopped pecans. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Serve on a platter with a variety if crackers. You can add variety to this as well by using other cheeses, adding in scallions, bacon, or other herbs.
